Letter to the family

1. I’m Nabila , an aspiring teacher with experience in mental health support and ESL teaching. I’m passionate about helping children grow and learn
2. I’ve always loved working with children and helping them grow. There’s something so rewarding about seeing a child gain confidence or learn something new, and I genuinely enjoy being part of that process.

3. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely care about the well-being of the children I look after. Families often tell me I’m good with kids and easy to trust. I create a balance of warmth and structure, ensuring kids feel safe and supported I also stay very active, playing football weekly and attending the gym daily, which helps me engage energetically with children.

4. . I’ve got a CELTA qualification, and I’ve worked as an ESL tutor and mental health support worker. I’ve worked with children as young as 3, including a child with autism, and a 7-year-old who was new to the UK. My background in criminology, particularly in areas that explore childhood development and psychology, provides me with a deeper understanding of the factors that influence children’s growth.

Experience

I have experience working with a 3-year-old boy with autism, where I engaged in interactive games and activities to support his development.

I also cared for a 7-year-old boy who had just moved to the UK. I helped him settle in, offering support with his language and adjusting to his new surroundings through fun and interactive activities.
