Letter to the family

Hello Beautiful World!

The most important part of me is my love for life. My goal in life is to share positive energy with the people around me and improve our quality of life.

I do not care what your age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or how any other part of identity is placed into a category; I want to share my respect and appreciation for you. I want to laugh with you, I want to help in any way I can. I do not know you, but I want to.

I would like to become an Au Pair because I want to learn from new experiences in new places with people who might be my new friends. I have studied French, but now I want to fully immerse myself and live in French language and culture. I like the idea of being an Au Pair because it allows different people to help each other in a healthy and positive way. I not only have experience helping younger people, but I also really enjoy doing it.

I started taking care of other people by just watching over my younger sister and doing the housework when our parents were out of the house. When I was in high school, I also was a babysitter for other kids in my neighborhood and took care of their pets (including dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles). Now I am finishing my third year in college and have a part-time job at a children's activity center, where I play with children between the ages of 0 and 8 years old.

I hope that we can become good friends!

Experience

I love languages! I like to think about how humans express their thoughts and feelings. I like to learn how to improve my ability to communicate with other people. In order to speak with more people and understand the world better through them, I practice speaking in at least three different languages every day. I go to French class in the morning, Chinese class in the afternoon, and a Spanish group in the evening. I want people to feel comfortable speaking to me in their preferred language, so even though I am not the most fluent speaker in any language, I try my best to speak in other languages as much as possible.

My goal for the summer is to become very familiar with the language and culture of France. I want to learn from people who live in their language and culture every day, I want to learn from the real world outside of a classroom. I am very excited to become an Au Pair, because the job offers an opportunity to help other people besides myself. I want to share life with you!
