About me! My name is Chiara and I was born in Italy. I lived my whole life in Switzerland and my mother is from Brazil. I speak Italian and I am currently learning English, German and Japanese, I also speak Portuguese and understand a little Spanish. Who knows maybe one day I will also be able to speak Russian and Chinese too! I could be a little bit too enthusiastic about, but I really like the Idea of me being able to.

Anyway! I play the piano, enjoy writing music pieces but most of all I love listening to music and I am now attending the last year of high school (musical). I love drawing (and painting) so much and hiking too since I live surrounded by the mountains (Lugano):) I am also a big big fan of food and enjoy cooking and eating everything. I wanted to take a gap year after I finish this school year and then do many things, such as writing a novel perhabs or maybe make a comic. Meet new people from places I have never been to. But what I am most keen on is drawing, so no matter what I will be doing in these next years, I hope I won’t stop doing it. For the last four years my dream has been the faculty of medicine but I believe it can wait. Life is long and there are many things I can be.


About children! I had the opportunity to spend some time with my mother’s friend’s children and also other kids I know and had a lot of fun! I love involving kids and myself in different activities such as dancing, karaoke, cooking, go for a run, breakfast outside, attend classes togheter, speak other languages with each other, draw, and many other things! I love asking for their opinions since I never know what answer they are going to give me.
I really enjoyed chemistry, history and (Italian) literature (poetry) so I can help the kids with their homework if needed:)
I am also a fast learner, so If anything else is needed for the children education, I can educate myself in order to teach them!

I would like to stay at least 6 months and maximum 15 months depending on the circumstances.

Before coming back to Switzerland to start the university, not only I would like to travel, learn, work and meet new people, but I would love attending an art school in Japan. This is why I would like to work during this gap year/s I am taking, this way I can save some money for the school.
