My name is Makanaka (Maka). Being a nanny/ au pair is more than just a job. It’s way of developing a good bond with the family and children so that there is a trust and dependency of care. It my way of helping parents to my job so that they can do theirs knowing that they have put their children in a safe care. Having a bond with the children allows for them to be comfortable around you, listen to you and trust you; that way they enjoy being in your care and you can enjoy spending time with them, so it doesn’t feel like a job. As any human I can make mistakes but as long as there is communication I can go above and beyond to ensure that I improve on the needs to the parents and the children. I have a lot of experience working with young children of all age groups and there is no doubt that the children love me as much as I love them
