Hi! My name is Emily, I am 22 years old and I’m currently studying Special Education for children with intellectual disability and Visual impairment with a focus on German and English at university. As part of my studies, I’m looking for a warm and open-minded host family for a semester abroad.
I grew up bilingual—my father is from Australia, so English has always been a Part of my life.

I have a strong passion for working with children and already have quite a bit of experience in childcare. I have two Sisters, one is four years younger, and I spent one year working at a school for children with special needs. Currently, I’m working at a school where I help supervise and support students during after-school care, where i help with homeworks, play Games etc. I also accompanied a group on a ski holiday for children with disabilities.

I love cooking and would be more than happy to help out with household tasks. I'm responsible, caring, and always happy to lend a hand wherever needed.

In my free time, I love being creative— I enjoy painting and art in general. I'm also passionate about music and fotography. I also like swimming, yoga, and cycling. I‘m open for all kinds of activities, I Like to go outside and explore, meet Friends of just be in nature, but I also enjoy quiet moments, like cozy movie nights or reading a book.
