Letter to the family

I am so happy to possibly become a member of the family! I’m a 25 year old from San Diego, California. I come from a close family and have spent plenty of time around children my entire life, having 4 nieces and nephews. I have been living in Spain for the past two years as an English language assistant and giving private lessons to children from 6-16. While I’ve loved this experience, being an au pair would be a different experience that I would love to share with your family. The main reason for being an au pair is that I would be surrounded by an authentic experience culturally and getting to know the ins and outs of a new city, while being able to be a part of the family! Looking forward to possibly be a part of your home.

Experience

I currently do not have experience being an Au Pair but have been working with children for the past two years as an English language assistant at a Secondary School and have been giving private lessons with children for 6-11 and have loved the experience. Along with that, I have been a babysitter since I was 14 for family friends and have taken care of my nieces and nephews. While I have loved being around students at school, my time giving private lessons has given me joy and has pushed me to want to be an Au Pair.
