My name is Sofia, I’m 20 years old, and I would be thrilled to join your family as an au pair this August 2025.

Born in Madrid but raised between Spain and Singapore, I was lucky to grow up in a truly international environment. I lived in Singapore from the age of 5 to 7, which gave me a deep and natural command of the English language. Later, I returned to Singapore to complete four years of secondary education. English has become a second native language to me, and I’m equally fluent in Spanish. I’m currently studying Law at university, and I balance my academic life with my passion for working with children and helping others grow.

As the eldest sister in my family, I’ve always taken on a natural caregiving role — being patient, responsible, and supportive. That sense of responsibility extended beyond my home life: I founded my own tutoring business in Madrid, helping Latin American immigrants and international students prepare for Spain’s university entrance exams. I’ve also taught Spanish and English to primary school-aged children from Chinese families, which has taught me how to adapt to different cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and age groups. Families often look for someone who is not only reliable and nurturing, but who can also become a true role model — and that’s the kind of au pair I strive to be. I’m organized, independent, and warm-hearted. I love connecting with children through creativity, learning, and laughter, while also respecting and supporting the parenting values of the household I’m part of.
