Dear Host Family,

My name is Mehmet Orhun. I am a 4th-year mathematics student at Ankara University, and I am writing to express my interest in becoming your Au Pair and Nanny.

Spending time with children has always brought me joy. I truly enjoy seeing the world through their eyes, full of curiosity and imagination. I have experience taking care of younger family members and children in my community, and I’ve found that I connect with them easily and naturally. Becoming an Au Pair is a wonderful opportunity for me to support a family, learn about a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow personally.

As someone who is responsible, calm, and patient, I believe I would be a great fit for your family. I’m also passionate about education and love helping with homework, especially in math! I can contribute not only by caring for your children, but also by being a positive and helpful presence in your daily life.

Experience

Although I haven’t participated in an official Au Pair program before, I do have experience working as a nanny in my home country. I’ve taken care of children of different ages, helping them with daily routines, playing games, supporting their learning, and making sure they feel safe and happy. This experience has taught me how to be patient, responsible, and understanding of children’s needs.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because it’s a unique opportunity to combine my love for children with my passion for discovering new cultures. I believe living with a host family and caring for their children is one of the most meaningful ways to learn about a new country and language. At the same time, I can share my own culture and values, creating a positive and enriching exchange for both sides.
