Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Niamh, I am 22 years old and about to graduate from university with a BA Hons degree in Primary Education (5-11) with QTS. This means I am about to become a qualified teacher, with years of childcare of experience and teaching behind me. I want to become an Au Pair over summer before I embark with my teaching career as I believe it would be an amazing experience to be able to care and teach children from different language backgrounds, as well as learn from them and about different cultures in the world.

I come from a family of 5, with an older sister and younger brother, which has shaped who I am as a person. I am good with children of all ages and have many years if experience for caring for them. I am a very organised and tidy person, as well as good with time management. It would be an amazing experience to be hosted for any family.

Experience

I don't currently have experience as an Au Pair or nanny, however I am an older sister who took a lot of responsibility when it came to caring for my younger sibling. As well as this, I am soon to be a fully qualified teacher so I have a lot of valuable experience when it comes to well being for children and caring for them.

I would like to become an au pair abroad as I believe it would be an amazing experience to be able to do the career I am trained in and love, while also living abroad and learning about new cultures and countries around me.

After becoming an au pair I plan to go into primary school teaching fulltime. I love reading and spending time outside.
