Letter to the family

Dear host family,

I hope this letter finds you well and excited to welcome a new member into the family. Let me introduce myself: I am Clara, a 26-year-old passionate about learning, sustainability, and outdoor adventures. Currently, I am studying Project Management online, focusing on sustainability, which truly interests me.

I would like to share a bit about my academic experience: in university, my final project was about teaching methodologies and the learning process, a subject that has always intrigued me. Additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in creating an ebook about children's sleep and nutrition, through which I gained extensive knowledge about the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children in early childhood.

I decided to become an au pair because I see it as an incredible opportunity to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and at the same time, contribute to the children's development. I have experience caring for my six younger siblings, which has taught me a great deal about child care and development.

Experience

I don't have experience as an au pair, but I have worked as a babysitter and taken care of my siblings since they were born. This includes waking them up, preparing meals, checking their backpacks, taking them to school, helping with homework, playing, reading stories, and taking the time to talk to them attentively, listening to their needs, and offering affection when necessary.
