Letter to the family

Dear future host family,

My name is Abigail, I'm 21 and I come from the south of the France.
I'm studying chemistry engineering in Lyon ( France ), and currently I'm doing an internship in Amsterdam ( Netherlands ) in a sustainable cosmetics industry. To complete my gap year, from march to august, I would love to become an Au Pair.

I'm the middle child in a family of 3 and I'm very well surrounded. We love sharing good and funny moments the most often as possible, indeed since 2020 I haven't lived in my parents house so sometimes it's hard to be all together again. Nevertheless, we always try to find a weekend/holidays to spend together.

Also, I'm a very friendly person, I have friends from the garden school and I love being surrounded and spending time with them.

About me, I always love sports such as volleyball, swimming, horse riding, surf.. I enjoy various activities and I'm always in discovering a new one. Also, I enjoy creative activities such as knitting, scrapbooking or reading. I would love to share those passion with the child !
Since my young age, I have a passion for travelling, discover new landscapes and meet people from different culture has always fascinated me. That's why I think that become an Au Pair can be the perfect opportunity to make my dreams come true. Also, for the moment I have a B2/C1 level and this experience could help me to improve my skills!

Become an Au pair, meet all to make a dream comes true.
Since I'm young, I always wanted to visit the world.
In high-school, I started to do some babysitting to earn a bit of money for my studies and I really enjoyed it ! I discover that I really love taking care of children and doing activities with them :)
I think that it could be a great experience to discover a family a new country while improving my English skills.
