Hi! Australian Nanny Ready for an Italian Adventure! ??

Buongiorno! My name is Carly, I'm a 34 year old female from Australia (English native), dreaming of living "la dolce vita" in your beautiful country for up to 12 months! (now that the visa age limit has been increased to 35! whoooo!)

I'm a sister (5 kids total), aunty (1 16 year old niece, Layla), big cousin (lots of younger cousins), and "Aunty Carly" to my best friend's two little girls. So I've spent a lot of time around baby's and children in general.

I'd love to be a Nanny in Italy so that I can experience the true Italian Culture - a town or village I may never have heard of, a local family going about their day, conversations in Italian dialect I don't yet understand, picturesque landscapes and of course delicious FOOD AND WINE. I LOVE pasta! I have a background in hospitality and have worked in Italian restaurants and with many Italian people in Melbourne. I've had a love obsession with Italy for so many years now, and although I have visited twice already, as a tourist, I just know that I'm eager to have a different experience, and living with an Italian family, helping them with their children and becoming a part of their family will honestly be something I will never forget!

I've spent the last two years living quite nomadically, travelling the world and even exploring my own country of Australia.
I spent 6 months living with my best friend and her two girls, Audrey who is now 3 and Blair who is now 1, helping her full time - bottles, nappies, day care, cooking, walks, parks, beaches, babycinos... just loving them and being a calming presence in their lives and it was such a humbling and precious time.

If you chose me, I'd love to share our cultures - including languages (I can help you and your children with English and I'd LOVE to learn some Italian), food and way of life.

Experience

I don't have any formal qualifications, but as mentioned, I have been around children my whole life.
Growing up as the second eldest of five children, and with a 16-year-old niece and numerous younger cousins, I have extensive experience caring for children of various ages. I understand the dynamics of family life and the importance of creating a structured and supportive environment.

My focus would be to bring in a sense of calm and peace, hold space for your children's big feelings and be a friend for them to confide in. I'm all about regulating your nervous system!
My background in hospitality means I can handle a lot of different personalities, I'm adaptable and flexible, and a people person.
