I have not been an Au Pair as such, since foster care in homes is not common in my country, but I have been a nanny or babysitter, as it is known in other countries.
I have cared for babies as young as months old, up to 12-year-olds, whether they were siblings, cousins, or only children. I have cared for six children simultaneously, as well as a 7-month-old baby individually, and 5- or 6-year-old girls.
I've been working since I was 16 (2021). I started caring for two sisters, ages 6 months and 5 years old, until they were 3 and 8 years old (March 2021 - December 2023). During that time, I began caring for their cousins, two girls of the same age and a 10-year-old boy. I also cared for two different girls, ages 5 and 6, and a 7-month-old baby.
I've worked from 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, to full weekends, sleeping over at the children's homes when their parents were traveling.
