Hi, my name is Alessia and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in a bilingual Italian-German family, I attended the German School of Milan for 12 years where I obtained my high school diploma in May. In addition to speaking Italian and German perfectly, I can also speak fluent English and I have basic knowledge of French and Spanish, I also have a great desire to improve my Spanish. My family is made up of my German mother, my Italian father, two older brothers and a twin sister, for a total of 6 people! Having grown up in such a large family, I consider myself very capable of adapting to different situations and behaving like a family.
In the summer of 2023 I participated in a volunteer camp in the Dominican Republic, where I was in close contact with children and girls of different ages and with different difficulties. At the moment I work as a waitress in Milan but I am looking for something different during my gap year, waiting to continue my studies the following year. I want to have new experiences, meet new cultures and new people. I have always felt comfortable with children and for years I have been following several children helping them with their homework during the week, or babysitting in the evenings. I love cooking and making sweets, I like painting, drawing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. As a child I have always had several friends with Appari and I have always wanted to have an experience like that myself.
I am looking for a cheerful family, with nice children and parents who are willing to also educate a relationship with me for allergies the experience not only to me, but above all to the whole family, to ensure a serene and happy atmosphere.
I am available to undertake this experience starting from January 2025, without having yet decided when to finish hoping to be able to find the best compromise between me and my future host family.
