Hi, I'm Mattia, an 18-year-old Italian boy, almost 19. I graduated in 2024 and to avoid making hasty decisions about my university path, I thought about taking a gap year to visit Europe and cultures different from my own. At this point in my life I do not rule out the possibility of subsequently undertaking a study path in a foreign university. I hope that the Aupair experience can direct me towards people from different cultures and therefore towards the right city to be able to start my studies next year.
Thanks to my seasonal jobs in theaters and cultural and recreational centers, I have developed excellent organizational and practical skills, which are also essential for managing the house and caring for children. Furthermore, the experience gained over the years working in the restaurant sector has allowed me to acquire great autonomy and develop practical skills useful in everyday life, such as managing the house.
In my family we have always given great importance to food. Cooking is for us a way to express our creativity and my family's attention to the quality of the ingredients and meals has pushed me to experiment and in the meantime, even though I was very young, I learned to appreciate seasonal and local products. When I was little I watched my grandmother cook, now I cook too and I really like cooking.
Again thanks to my wonderful family I am a sunny and thoughtful boy, attentive and tidy.
