Hi, My name is Meghan! I'm a person who loves eating good food, spending time outside, and reading. Becoming an Au Pair is a dream for me because it combines the two things I enjoy: working with children and meeting new people. I truly enjoy building strong, supportive connections with kids and being a positive influence in their lives. In my past job as a swim instructor, I truly grew to love that part the most and loved when my students would come back after the lessons were done and tell me about how their lives are now. I see being an Au Pair as more than a job; it's an opportunity to grow personally while contributing meaningfully to a family's daily life.
Families should host me because I bring warmth, fun, and a true love for caregiving. I have experience working with children of all ages, including children with disabilities, which has taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of understanding each child’s unique needs. I love crafting, cooking, and baking, and I would be more than happy to bring those creative skills into your home; whether it’s a fun art project on a rainy day or baking cookies together. I have also had experience with tutoring and homeschooling, which I did over the COVID-19 pandemic for a small group of family friends and my younger brother.
I believe I’m a great fit for the Au Pair role because of my combination of childcare experience, adaptability, and enthusiasm. My experience with special needs children has made me more attentive and compassionate, and my love for activities like swimming and outdoor play means your children will stay active, engaged, and happy. I’m also organized, dependable, and excited to become a part of your family’s everyday life.
