Letter to the family

Hi my names Sadie! I’ve recently just left sixth form in my home town after gaining all the results needed. I have a very good community of people around me and would love to extend that to another destination where I’d be able to experience new things and learn more! I’ve been told by friends, coworkers and peers that I’m very friendly, patient and enthusiastic which makes me feel like I’d be a great au pair. I feel I’ve displayed the above through many different circumstances, for instance I’ve been told I’m patient and helpful while in one of my part time jobs and while doing work experience at a primary school I had the opportunity to work at. I also often find I’m the first person people come to with an issue and I love to help with whatever it is!

Experience

I have always enjoyed working with children and find it rewarding to help them learn and grow. I have previous experience working with children in a primary/infants school where I helped with work involving literacy and numeracy skills, I really enjoyed making these activities fun and engaging for the children and re visiting anything individual children didn’t quite get yet. I also helped out at playtime where I was really able to get involved and spend time with the children getting to know their fun personalities! As well as this, I have helped out in older children’s high school classes where I was able to display a level of responsibility and enthusiasm to encourage them to complete work fully and help them understand it’s important. Being an Au Pair would help be learn more about different cultures and learn life long skills like independence and maturity while making memories I’ll look back on for years to come. Moreover, I have a very flexible upcoming year and I’m very adaptable to different environments as I enjoy changes and love taking opportunities.
