Mireia (23 / Ms. ), Spanish, Student living in Spain looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Greece, Iceland, Italy, Spain & France for 1-3 Months

Dear host family,

My name is Mireia, I am 22 years old and I live in Mollet del Valles, a city near of Barcelona, with my family. My mother's name is Anna and she works as hairdresser in Mollet, and my father's name is Julian and he works as engineer in Barcelona. I have got a young sister whose name is Ariadna. She is 14 years old. I love looking after children and I have been always taking care of my sister when my parents were at work. I used to help her in her summer homework and when she finished we used to go to the swimming pool.

I would like to apply for a job as a babysitter because I love working with children because they know how to get the best out of myself and I try to teach them to do their best. It is a very rewarding job. Also, I think that it is a good opportunity to work, improve my English and learn more of your country and culture. In addition, it was an excellent chance to become independent because I’ll have to manage in my own in a new place, far from my family.

I feel I am suited to this position because I am a hard-working, responsible and mature person. And I am sure that your children would learn a lot working with me.

I am studying Medicine at the university.

I have many different hobbies like fashion, dancing, music. I like shopping, meeting my friends, riding in bike, going to cinema, watching football matches, and reading sport magazines. I love barça. I haven't traveled to many places. I were in France, London, Denmark and Poland, but I love traveling, meeting new people, new customs and lifestyles, so being an au pair would be a great experience for me.

I was in Denmark and Poland with my school. I did an exchange. So, I know what is live far of my family.
