My name is Alexandra (Alyx) and I am currently 22 years old, turning 23 in June and I am from New York, USA! I want to become an Au Pair because I enjoy working with children and I love traveling. I believe I am easy going, low maintenance, and adaptable. I feel that I would be easy to work with for a family because I have lived in a few different places in my life, in my own country and abroad and I had to adapt to each one differently.
I qualify for an Au Pair position because I have a ton of experience working with children. My most recent experience is teaching English to kids of all ages up to 12 in Madrid, Spain. I have been a camp counselor for 3 years working with ages 5-16. I babysat 3 girls in high school as one of my first experiences with children. I have been a substitute teacher for about 2 years and was a ski instructor for young kids for 3 winters!
I enjoy working with children because of their energy and curiosity. I find it rewarding to help them learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves. Whether it's through teaching, mentoring, or simply being a good role model, I value the opportunity to make a lasting impact in their lives!
