Valentina (18 / Ms. ), Mexican, Marketing Professional living in Mexico looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Canada, Spain, Sweden & USA for 10-12 months

Hello! My name is Valentina Melendez. I grew up in Monterrey, Mexico as the oldest sister in a family of six people. I am currently finishing my last semester of high school at PrepaTec. Due to the global pandemic I have struggled enjoying online classes and with the arising restrictions I decided to postpone my entry to university until 2022. After thoughtful consideration, I decided AuPair was the best way to work during my gap year. As I previously mentioned, I was the oldest sister in a big family. Ever since I was little I have had a maternal instinct in taking care of my younger siblings. My love for children only grew as I got older. When I was sixteen I began working during my summer and winter breaks in a daycare focused on aiding working parents from early in the morning until the afternoon. The daycare had an immersive program that ranged from teaching to entertaining activities. My role was to assist a classroom with 2 year old students. As well, I have worked independently from the daycare as a nanny with over 10 kids ranging from newborns to 12 year olds. As an external activity, before the pandemic, I would do volunteer work in a non-governmental organization focused on improving the education of kids in developing communities near my city. Every weekend I would work with my partners tutoring kids from ages 4-12.
