My name is Emily and I am a 23 year old soon-to-be graduate from The Ohio State University's College of Engineering. I studied to be become a chemical engineer and am extremely excited to experience the world. I would make an outstanding au pair for your family because of my extremely diligent disposition with a strong work ethic, deep love of learning, and my outgoing, friendly demeanor.

The majority of my undergraduate career has been spent working as a teaching assistant with students of a variety of ages within the College of Engineering, including local community STEM outreach. My other involvements at school include Phi Sigma Rho -- a sorority for women in engineering, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers ("AIChE"), and the Society of Women Engineers ("SWE"). I would love to be come an au pair for your family so that I can further imbue others with my love of learning as a caretaker and role model for your children.

Ohio State enrollment is around 60,000 students, making it one of the largest and most diverse student bodies in the country. My experiences at university and the array of people I've met the past few years has invigorated my desire for new experiences and adventures. Further, in my undergraduate experience, I have taken semesters off in order to work in industry as a chemical engineer, totaling around 2 years of work. These experiences have further greatly developed my ability to establish and accomplish my goals, challenge myself personally and academically, and exploring new places.
