Malysha (29 / Ms. ), Canadian, living in Canada looking for Au Pair & Home share with elderly job in Iceland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway & Sweden for 3-12 Months

Hi!! My name is Malysha (she/her). I am 27 years old, born and raised in a small city in Canada! Being an Au Pair/Live-in Help has always been something I have wanted to do in my life. After graduating University with my Bachelors in Sociology, I was asked to help with my family's business which has kept me busy for many years. As I am getting older I want to start doing things for me, and that includes starting my career as an Au Pair! I may have little formal experience, but I have always been involved with children or children with special needs in some capacity. Children have always had a special place in my heart. I babysat my whole childhood and my love for children is undeniable. I have also spent a lot of time volunteering to run errands, cooking/baking and visiting the seniors in my life.

I would make a great asset to families and seniors as I take direction very well, learn easily, and am very personable. I was raised by two loving parents who taught me that respect, above all else, is most important. That respect does not just fall to adults, but to children. Children are seeing and learning the world for the first time. I believe in getting on the ground, playing at the park, coloring pictures, and doing all the activities the children like to do. I find them seeing the "adult" or "authority figure" taking the time to enjoy what they are enjoying does wonders for a child's mindset. I also understand that seniors have lived a long, great life, but they are also going through new experiences and being able to help them get out and enjoy the world would be a privilege. Taking care of others is truly something I love to do. I am known for being "too nice" to my friends and family.

I believe if given the opportunity I would thrive in any environment. The work I am doing currently is very fast paced and demanding. I have a management role and am in charge of 40 employees. I do not panic or am phased easily. I am always punctual and take pride in what I am doing. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and was a lifeguard when I was a younger. I still am a very strong swimmer and remain calm in stressful situations.

I feel I could find my place in any household and be a major benefit for those who take a chance on me.
