Hello there, I’m Maria:) I’m a smiling, cheerful girl from Russia looking for a host family.
A little bit of a story of me: I finished up a BA in English/Spanish focusing in Linguistics. In my uni days I used to work as a nanny - I cared of three school aged kiddos (4, 6, 12). I fulfilled a general nanny housekeeper description and performed all nanny duties. I also joined the family on special occasions where I really put my heart into holidays and events to help them celebrate those milestones. I’ve spent a solid 3 years working for the family and was able to see the kids grow up (which still makes me feel the whole range of emotions).
I travel a lot and have been to a number of South Asian countries (so much beauty in our world!). From my last trip to Bali I discovered Hatha yoga and I’m in love.
In terms of my personality, I'm super easy going, highly patient and responsible. I have always been mature and level-headed for my age but when it comes to caring for children I have the ability to turn into any Disney princess.
I hope to get a wholesome experience and make good friends with your family. I also have a passion for home cooking/baking so will be happy to show you my traditional food. I love listening to people talk and hope you’ll share some of your family stories with me too.
