Greetings dear host family!

My name is Julia, I am 20 years old and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in International Relations. I will graduate in June 2026 and after that I would really like to try to become your au pair.

I would like to get this experience first of all because I love spending time with children: helping them, playing with them, explaining things to them. I believe that children see the world a bit differently than we - adults, so it is very interesting to be with them. I grew up in a big family myself and I am used to being responsible for the younger ones. I have two siblings: an older sister and a younger brother, as well as four cousins two of whom have not yet finished primary school. I have been spending a lot of time with them since they were born, sometimes staying with them for a few days when my aunt is very busy. I also have two cats, so I know how to take care of pets as well in case you need it.

Another reason for my desire to become an au pair is my interest in other cultures and countries. In the future I plan to do a Master's degree abroad to enhance my expertise and afterwards to work in international organisations. To do this, I want to live in another country for a while, socialise with the locals and, of course, improve my knowledge of foreign languages. I am also interested in understanding the culture of other countries and the differences between the cultures. Before, I stayed two times for a month in Germany for language courses and it was an amazing and interesting experience.

If you decide to take me on as an Au Pair for your family, you will get a very responsible, quite calm and friendly person who knows how to adapt to different situations and make decisions in unexpected situations. I will be happy to share with you the peculiarities of my culture, help you to look after your children and do housework.

Although my experience of working with children is not as extensive, I am confident that I can fulfil all the duties of an Au Pair very well. The reason for this is that I am constantly spending a lot of time with my younger brother and little cousins, keeping an eye on them and making sure they have a happy childhood.
