Dear My Host Family,

My name is Tuğba. I am 21 years old. I am from Turkey and I am living in a beautiful coastal side, in a town called Bodrum. I am studying Physic at Dokuz Eylül University. My job is to take care of two children 6 and 1 years old. As you may assume I spent most of my time with children and makes me really happy. It has always my dream of to work with children and it still this. I love kids so much and I am pretty good at handling them thanks to my education and experience.

I would like to tell you more about myself. I am good at cooking. I especially cooking healthy food and enjoy it very much. I believe this may become a perfect leisure time among us if your children like cooking we might cook together whatever they want some of the traditional Turkish dishes also. I am a licensed driver, I am calm and careful while driving it will be my pleasure to your kids to the places needed.

I would like you to know I love animals too. I can't stand seeing animals get hurt. I have two cats and I am in love with all of them. So if you have a pet living with you it will be my pleasure to take them for a walk or to feed them.

Besides that, sports are quite important for me. I like walking, swimming, canoeing, sailing, going to the gym, dancing, and riding. While doing sports I feel free. I don't smoke and take care of my health very well.

One of my hobbies is traveling with my family or my friends. Turkey has a variety of natural differences in its provinces. The climate, history, geographical location, and landscape differs from every region and also inter-region. This variation creates a selection of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Turkey has 81 main cities for us to explore. I visited 25 cities in turkey. While traveling I prefer camping. If I am at home, I usually read a book or study English. Sometimes I go to the theatre or cinema.

I would like to tell you about my family members who are really lovely. we are a famişly of 3. my mother is 51 years old. she worked so many years as a telephone operator she is pretty patient, lovely and content person. We love to chat while drinking Turkish coffee together. We frequently go to the beach in the morning. We both believe it is healthy to start a day by swimming. one of our hobbies is shopping together in our leisure time.Unfortunately, my father was dead because of a car accident when I was 3 months old. I have a sister 26 years old. She married one year ago. She has such a lovely family now. My lovely sister and I have a lot of fun together. She is pretty sympathetic, warm-hearted, and friendly. she makes everyone happy. We often watch comedy movies and sometimes we go to the cinema for action movies. Her English better than me she also teaches me English.

I have been going to an English course for about 4 months to improve my English. I have to accomplish this to see as soon as possible. I have been wondering about different cultures for a long time. It's so exciting to think that I will get a chance to experience it soon.

I want to see child development closely and mean time to catch up with your culture. So being an Au pair is an opportunity for me. I will take care of your children at the same time I will experience a lot of different cultures and improve my English. Although I have never worked as an au pair I worked as a babysitter when I was 17 for a year. The baby was a newborn. The experience which I gained was priceless. We loved each other very much. when I had to go to university, which was in a different city, I had to stop looking after her. Of course, I kept seeing my little one of my vacations. she is 7 years old now. When I was at the university I took care of other 2 children who were 7 and 9 years old. I was helping with their homework and we used to go swimming or skiing at the weekends. I am able to help your children with their homework.

I would like you to know that the whole family and friends supporting me in achieving my dreams. As a young woman, who comes from an open-minded and encouraging family, I have learned how to overcome different situations. There might be kind of challenging issues like different food cultures, however, I am sure I will get use to this being a talented babysitter and gain efficient experience for the future.
