Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Lucie and I would be honoured to join your family as an Au Pair in 2026! I have grown up in Australia all my life but am highly passionate about studying other cultures and their languages. I would love to be your Au Pair as I intend on immersing myself fully into the new culture and my host family.

As the eldest of 5 I have learnt the dynamics of children and the skills necessary to ensure a safe and loving environment and relationship is created. I have also worked as a Jiu Jitsu coach for four years and enjoyed every second of it. Teaching and nurturing children from 3-16 filled me with much joy and fulfillment as I was able to coach them in the beauty and importance of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Instilling respect, confidence and the skills necessary for self defense were my main roles but I also was able to make connections with the children and assist them with other troubles they experienced.

Experience

Studying other cultures and languages while offering my skills and experience is one of my many passions. Therefore being able to culturally immerse myself and simultaneously assist families is the beauty of being an Au Pair. Exchanging knowledge and experiences is such a beautiful thing to be able to do and I look forward to doing it with your gorgeous family. I have been surrounded by young children my whole life and being the eldest has helped me in my awareness and ignited this great love of taking care of children and nurturing them.
