Dear family, My name is Jaime Martínez, and I'm delighted to be writing these lines to introduce myself and share with you my excitement about embarking on this adventure as an au pair. For some time now, I've felt strongly motivated to live an experience like this, as it combines many of the things I love most: discovering new cultures, living with different people, learning, and, above all, sharing. I firmly believe that being an au pair isn't just about taking care of children, but about being part of a family, living with them, learning from each other, and creating unforgettable memories. I consider myself a very sociable, clean person (seriously, am I one of those people who won't go to sleep if the kitchen isn't tidy?), adventurous, and very responsible. I'm a detail-oriented person; I like everything to be in its place, and if I can contribute something to make the house run more smoothly, I'm there for you. I'm also a good student (I'm finishing a double degree in Law and Criminology) and I have a strong sense of commitment, so I always try to give my best in everything I do. I also love having fun with the little ones, playing, making up stories, doing crafts, or simply being with them and listening. I connect with children easily, perhaps because I'm quite cool and adapt very well to different personalities. And of course, I also know when to get serious and set boundaries with love and respect. I look forward to meeting you, learning from you, sharing my culture, and being part of your daily life as a member of the family.
