Malen (19 / Ms. ), Spanish, Student living in Spain looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Australia, Canada, USA, Malta & New Zealand for 1-3 Months

Dear host family,

My name is Malen, I am currently 19 years old and I am an enthusiastic, responsible person who is eager to live new experiences. I love to travel, learn about new cultures and immerse myself in different ways of life, so being an Au Pair represents an incredible opportunity for me. In addition, improving my language skills is one of my main goals, and I believe that living with a native family is the best way to achieve this.

I have always loved children. I enjoy their energy, creativity and the way they see the world. I am currently studying Psychology at university, and one of the branches in which I would like to specialize is in child and adolescent clinics, since I consider the emotional well-being of the little ones to be essential. I had the opportunity to work for three months at a summer camp in Boston as an arts and crafts instructor, where I not only taught creative workshops, but I was also in charge of children of all ages 24 hours a day. This experience helped me develop patience, leadership skills, and a great ability to adapt, as well as reaffirming my vocation for child care.

I think I would make a great Au Pair because I am responsible, caring, and always looking to create a safe and fun environment for children. I like to get involved in their activities, help them with their homework, play with them, and contribute to their personal growth. In addition, I understand the importance of communication and respect within a home, and I am committed to integrating into the family in the best possible way.

I have also trained in important areas for child safety and well-being. I have different diplomas, including a course on sexual abuse against children, first aid + AED, and bruises in sports. I believe that this knowledge can be very useful in everyday situations and allows me to act responsibly and preventively in any circumstance.

Another important aspect of my life is my love for animals. I have a dog and a cat that I adore, and I am very used to caring for and living with them. For me, pets are part of the family, and I love spending time with them.
