Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Nicola. I live in Canada along the ocean in British Columbia. I speak English and French fluently. I live with my parents, my little sister and my dog. I love music and playing the piano. I love sports and working with children.
I have been a swim coach for a few years teaching young kids how to swim and enjoy being in the water. That is a big reason why I want to become an Au Pair. Before I get back into school and go into university I would love to work abroad. I'm responsible and have always worked hard at various jobs. I've worked in customer service as well as child care as well as working with the Canadian Armed Forces. I feel that I would be a good candidate as I've grown up taking care of my sister, as well as baby sitting for kids all around my neighbourhood. Teaching sports to young kids has really taught me lots of skills when it comes to working with children. I have lots of skills in being organized and punctual and very independent.

Experience

I think it would be an amazing experience. I have always loved taking care of children and I have always wanted to live in Europe. I would love to do something abroad before I go into university. I would love to be able to take care of myself independently and save up money for my future. I would love to make some new connections and hopefully help a family who needs someone to watch thier kids.
