Hello!
My name is Justine and I am currently a fourth year Political Science student from Vancouver Island, Canada! I am passionate about people and hope to contribute my skills in any and all ways I can. I am always up to help, and love taking initiative when it comes to tasks that may alleviate stress and responsabilities from others.
After doing a year-long exchange in Europe, I have done much travelling and have had the pleasure of being exposed to so many different cultures, having been able to appreciate the beauty in each of their individual uniqueness. At my core, I am attentive, caring and infinitely open minded!
In my house, my mom only speaks to me in French, and my dad only speaks to me in English. With my brother, I speak a combination of both. In settings where the whole family is together, I systematically translate my sentences from English to French or vice versa, in order to foster an environment where everyone feels fully integrated and involved in the conversation. Having previous experience with French tutoring, I have developed skills related to recognizing skill levels and working towards improvement at the pace that fits the student.
