Dear future host family,

My name is Jeanne, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Lorraine, France. I currently work as a registered nurse, having graduated in 2023.

I want to become an au pair to experience a new and enriching adventure in a new and different setting, to live at the pace of a family, to participate in their daily life, and to create genuine bonds. I also hope that this immersion will allow me to improve my English (and even other languages), by exposing myself to the language in my everyday life over a period of several months; this is a goal that is close to my heart.

I've always had excellent rapport with children. I have had several experiences caring for people I know: the little sister of a close friend, occasional babysitting of a child between the ages of 1 and 3, my 5-year-old cousin, as well as a maternity internship as part of my nursing training. These experiences have always been positive and have allowed me to develop a gentle, attentive, and caring approach with children.
I am also willing to fully engage in daily tasks, including housework. I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and orderly home, and I would be happy to contribute to this aspect of daily life by taking care of the family environment.

I am cheerful, responsible, patient, and enjoy participating in a variety of activities: games, baking, walks, and crafts. I am committed to ensuring their well-being and safety, while providing them with enjoyable, age-appropriate experiences. As a French speaker, I would also be delighted to introduce them to a few words of French if you would like.

This project represents a wonderful opportunity for me to learn and share. I would be delighted to share a part of my life with you, to integrate myself into your daily life, and to offer my presence in a warm and reliable manner.
