To introduce myself, my name is Mina, I'm 21 years old, and I'm in my first year of a Master's degree in Business Law at the Nancy Law School (in France). I'm pursuing a double degree in law, and it's through this program that my application has been accepted for an Erasmus placement in Budapest next year (for the entire academic year). I'm therefore applying as an au pair from September to approximately April/May (I don't know the exact dates yet).
The idea of ​​leaving France and being far from my family and boyfriend makes me quite anxious. Although I'm eager to discover a new country, I'm also worried I won't be able to adapt; it will be a big first for me! Being an au pair would allow me to meet people directly there and would reassure me! For a little peculiarity, I plan to leave next year with my cat, whom I love more than anything and who I could not leave in France during my stay, so she will be part of my trip! I know that this can be a hindrance for an au pair family, however if your children like animals they will get along wonderfully with her, she is adorable and does not make any damage (she also knows how to be patient with babies, tests approved with my nephew whom she preferred to run away to hide until he grew up a little haha).
