Letter to the family

Originally translated from Español
Hi, I’m telling you,

My name is Daniela and I am from Mexico. I enjoy meeting new people, places and cultures. I consider myself a quiet and noble, sincere and adaptive person.

I love children, I see them as "mini-me", mischievous and innocent.

My experience with children begins when I was 8 years old when I started taking care of my 5 year old sister and 1 year old brother, with activities as basic as preparing milk and checking their temperature. Throughout my adolescence I took care of my little cousins and neighbors (3-10 years old).

After finishing university, I volunteered at Casa Hogar de Niños. I change the perspective of my life and now a dream is adoption.

During my period of babysitting I have discovered that I am very protective, nutrition is very important to me and how they develop emotionally (their self-esteem).

I think it is important to mention that in my family we received people who took care of us, who stayed for years (they were not known as AuPair), and they are part of my family. They traveled with us, ate with us, and lived with us. Thanks to this I know how important Aupair are to the family and especially the children.

The most important thing for me and the family is communication, respect and the confidence to say a concern, disagreements and requests.

The extra that I offer to the family is my university degree, that your children are always with someone who also takes care of their health.

If you have questions and would like to contact me, please feel free to do so.

Have a nice day!

Experience

Hello! I tell him:

My experience with the children starts from the age of 8 when I started taking care of my 5 year old sister and 1 year old brother, with activities as basic as preparing milk, checking the temperature of the milk or changing diapers. Throughout my teens I took care of all my little cousins and neighbors, ages 3-10. After finishing university I volunteered at Casa Hogar de Niños without and with some kind of special care.

I am related to caring for the elderly and degenerative diseases. For example, adults with a disease that prevents them from doing daily activities at home and require special help (Arthritis, Alzheimer, among others). My experience is based on my academic training and personal experiences. The conversations of older adults are the ones I enjoy the most.

I have not had the opportunity to work as an Aupair before, which may be a disadvantage, but I really enjoy the company of children or older adults and I am totally open to new experiences, I am very empathetic with people and responsible with my work. Communication and respect is the most important thing for me between me and the family. And above all, the confidence to say when something is worrying.
