Letter to the family

Hello!

I'm a fun-loving and creative young adult, exploring life and trying to find where I fit in the word.

I started pursing a career as a cook and worked in restaurants for a while, but as I went further down the management rabbit-hole I realized I hated it. The only part I enjoyed was working with others and training employees. I decided cooking could be something I just did at home, and ended up taking a break from pursuing my bachelor's. That set me in a completely different direction career-wise. I got my associate's degree in Art, and worked toward my certificate to teach English as a foreign language. Now I hope to someday use this to teach abroad. In the meantime, I'm looking to expand my horizons however I can. Send me a message! I'd love to chat and see if we'd be a great match.

Experience

I am currently an online English tutor, and love meeting and speaking with new students often. I recently started my English teaching journey by obtaining my certificate to teach English as a foreign language. My dream is to eventually teach English abroad while exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures. However, the countries I want to teach in the most require a bachelor's degree for a working visa. While I work on finishing my degree, I am looking for new opportunities that still provide new and relevant experiences.

I have four nephews under 5 years old, and plenty of young cousins, so I am comfortable around children of many different ages and love the silliness that comes from playing with them. My hobbies and creativity have blessed me with a wonderful imagination that mixes very well with children, and, when paired with my fun-loving personality, creates an environment where we all can have fun.
