Hello, I am Carsen! Working with children was always a dream of mine. I enjoy a child's energy, willingness to learn, curiosity, and the fun they bring to everyday life. Over the years, I have learned that being around children not only allows me to share my knowledge and creativity but also challenges me to grow and adapt in ways that strengthen my patience and problem-solving skills. Becoming an au pair or nanny is the perfect opportunity for me to contribute to a child's development in a meaningful way while gaining life experiences that I can carry with me in my future endeavors. I have always had a strong desire to not only support children, but their families too. I value communication and would ensure that I align to your families expectations and routines while offering my services to take care of your children and home. I would love to help with schoolwork, preparing meals, organizing fun activities, and helping with morning and night routines. I believe this mutual exchange would be enriching for all parties involved. As far as my experience, I have several years of child-care experience, bot professionally and personally. I have worked with children with various needs from the ages of 3-19, while supporting their family in a variety of settings. My experience has included: Camp Counselor, 1-on-1 Behavioral Therapist, Special Education Assistant Teacher, etc. I have completed the trainings for: CPR, First-Aid, Seizure Training, Safe Environment Training, Mandated Reporter, and HIPAA compliance. I also maintain very strong interpersonal skills which allows me to pair nicely with children, and makes it easy for me to connect and understand them and their unique needs.
