Hi! I'm Amelia, 19 years old, and I'm from the United States. I'm excited for the opportunity to spend time in Spain as an au pair! I'm a student at Columbia University (in New York City), studying sociology and finance. However, I have over five years of experience working with children, including teaching and babysitting, and I'm passionate about helping them learn and grow in a fun and nurturing environment. For three years, I worked at a summer camp in New York City for children ages 4-10, teaching art, music, and sports. During the year (when I'm in college), I work part-time at an elementary school in the after-school program, playing games, babysitting, and helping children with homework. I also have worked as a babysitter and tutor for several different families with kids of a variety of ages.

I'm fluent in English and Spanish and look forward to improving my language skills while experiencing the culture. I'm patient, creative, and enjoy exploring and trying new foods. I also love cooking, listening to music, running, and doing yoga. I'm excited to be part of your family and contribute to a positive and loving home!
