Georgina (23 / Ms. ), British, Salesperson living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Australia, China, Germany, Italy & Spain for 1-12 Months

Hi, my name is Georgina and I am a 23 year old professional from the UK. I have spent the majority of my working career in the sales industry and have always felt like something is missing!
My love for the world and travelling has always been something I could see myself doing as a career and what better way to do that than by meeting new people and adding value to someone’s life as well!
With my mum being a teacher, I have been exposed to childcare for as long as I can remember. I used to help mark her students work and help her prepare for lessons. When I was slightly older, I then volunteered at the school she worked in as well as my sisters nursery.
My younger sisters are 6 and 8, quite a bit younger than me; I feel like I’ve ended up being their second mother and have loved every minute of it. I frequently babysit and take them on days out and am always keen to spend time with them.
In my working career, I have only been able to find jobs that pay the bills and not necessarily jobs that I enjoy or could see myself doing for the long term. One of the most important things I think a person can offer is help and value to someone else’s life. Not only is it beneficial for the receiver, but I find it incredibly fulfilling.
I am highly organised, excellent at time-keeping, outgoing and extremely approachable. I suppose the benefit of being in the sales industry for so long is that my problem solving and ability to think on my feet is great but I am ready to fully immerse myself in the world of nannying and really make a difference in someone’s life. Seeing my mum take care of my younger sisters, really opened my eyes to the world of being a parent and how challenging that can be- we all need a little helo sometimes! It also showed me how the little things in a child’s life such as quality time, learning opportunities and the relationships they have with others can have such an impact on their future.
