Dear Host family,

It's so exciting to be able to write to you to give you a better idea of who I am and what I'm like as a person.My name is Grace ,and I am a Kenyan lady aged 27 years old with a bubbly,open and unique personality.Being creative and imaginative is something that I really enjoy since it allows me to freely express myself with confidence.

I come from a fairly large family of eight pe ople.I live with my mum,dad,my three siblings and my grandparents.I am a second child as I have a younger brother and two sisters.My mother is a tailor and a dressmaker(have learnt few techniques on dressmaking and tailoring)since I have a strong relationship with my mum.My dad is a primary school teacher and a farmer too.But it's not my parents alonemy siblings alone I live with,I also have many pets that I care for,I have one dog called Tyson(male).I also have a cat and four rabbits.I normally feed then every day with the help of my mum.

I am a teacher by professional having completed my course.I have already studied Music,Creative Arts and Physical education which helps me to be an active person.My favourite subjects are English,Social Studies and Physical Education.

I have many hobbies and consequently don't always have enough time to enjoy them all in one day.I love sports especially athletics,hockey and table tennis.Having been brought up in an African setup,I had to gain cooking skills,cleaning and tidying up the house.I have been active throughout my school life.I love reading fiction books and am passionate about acting.I have been playing roles as an actress several times.I love travelling and outdoor activities.

After my exchange I am hoping to attend classes to further up my education.I want to attend many language classes to improve on my communication and also immerse myself in what I believe to be a fascinating cultures.The fact that I would improve my experience,explore, new cultures and mannerisms,all while creating bonds with family and friends in another continent will be amazing,life changing experience that I hope to be part of one day.

And here I am,extremely excited for what lies ahead,anticipating of all the new experiences,as well as the challenges that I will face.
