Hi there! My name is Amelia and I am from Memphis, Tennessee. I am interested in becoming an Au Pair because I enjoy seeing/experiencing other cultures and find it fascinating how we can live on the same planet and yet, be apart of two completely different worlds. I love to travel and feel that this is the perfect way for me to accomplish that. When I travel I prefer to completely immerse myself into the culture, something this job would allow me to do. That's why I know becoming an Au Pair is the perfect job for me. As for why you should host me, I love to work with kids and feel a calling to help them. I have been working with kids regularly for about 4 months and am CPR and First Aid certified!

Experience

My introduction into working with children was on a mission trip to Amsterdam, while I was there I helped babysit 7 two year olds for a week. Since then, I have volunteered in the children's department at my church every Wednesday night where I work with the 4 and 5 year olds. Currently, I work at that same church in their public playground where I help clean up messes and talk to kids about whatever they are interested in.
