Dear Host Family,

My name is Lærke Holm, I’m 19 years old and from Denmark. I recently graduated from a business-oriented upper secondary school (HHX), and I’m currently taking a gap year to explore new experiences before continuing my studies.

I want to become an au pair because I love spending time with children and enjoy being part of family life. I come from a big family with many younger children, so I’ve naturally gained a lot of experience with childcare. Becoming an au pair also gives me the opportunity to learn about a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow personally while contributing to a family’s everyday life.

You should consider hosting me because I’m responsible, caring, and easygoing. I’ve worked in the service industry since I was 14, which has taught me how to be reliable, flexible, and communicate well with others. I’m also very active and enjoy sports and movement, which I believe can bring positive energy into your home.
