My name is Yasmin Simpson. I am 21 years old and live in Denmark but have roots in Scotland. I am a energic, sweet and down to earth person. I am good at starting activities and I like being outdoor. The nature calms me down and gives me energi
I am currently having my second gap year after graduating from secondary school. I want to study occupasional therapist next year. In Denmark I have been working in a kindergarden, at a daycare center for elderly with dementia, and as a disabillity helper for two boys with special needs. I enjoy being around people and help them out in their daily life. These jobs has tought me a lot about getting along with kids and elderly people. But specially through my job as disabillity helper have I learned to be with families in their private home, which is very different from daycare situations in my opinion.

I would love to be with you and your family and the daily life and learn avout your culture while I am taking care of either you, your home or your kids. I both want to become an au pair and a caregiver for elderlies, that is why my application is so wide.

Experience

I love to travel and have been travelling a lot the past year. I have been to Spain, Scotland, Greece, Iceland, Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Japan and Indonesia so far. I enjoy travelling but I also want to learn more about the culture in one country. Therefore, I would like to settle down for a longer period of time and stay with a local family to help them out and to learn about their culture.

My thrive as always been to help people therefore I would like to be a caregiver for elderly or an Au pair. The special connection and relation you get when you help people in their daily lige and just spends time with them is very valuable to me. That is why I do not want ti move to a foreign country and just get a regular job as an foreigner.

I would like to help people, learn their culture while helping with everything i can in their daily life.
