My name is Jiří, and I am a 20-year-old student from Opava, Czech Republic. I believe I would make a great teacher and friend to you and your children.

I grew up in Havířov but moved to Opava to study film, my main passion. I enjoy collecting old VHS tapes and old video game consoles, making videos for my YouTube channel, and spending time with my family, friends, and my dog. I also love exploring different cultures and dream of visiting China and learning Mandarin. Despite living alone in Opava, I return home every weekend to spend time with my loved ones.

I have experience taking care of my brother’s two children (6 and 4), helping them learn and grow. Watching them achieve small successes, like earning a good grade or drawing a great picture, brings me joy. I understand that caring for children comes with challenges, but I am ready to take on the responsibility. I believe patience, kindness, and understanding are key qualities when working with kids, and I am confident in my ability to connect with them. Experience

I have never spent more than two weeks abroad, but I trust my adaptability and positive mindset. I am excited to embrace a new culture, improve my skills, and build meaningful connections. Experiencing daily life in a foreign country, especially one with different customs and traditions, is something I look forward to. I enjoy meeting new people, trying different foods, and exploring unfamiliar places, so this opportunity is a perfect fit for me.

My summer break from July to September provides an ideal timeframe for this enriching experience. I see it as a chance for personal growth, a way to improve my communication and childcare skills, and an opportunity to share my own culture with a host family.
