Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Oda, I soon turn 22, and I’m born and raised here in Norway. I’m originally from a small town inland called Elverum, but I now live in Oslo. I studied for a year in a northern town called Trondheim right after I finished high school, but found out that I wanted to do something else instead, so for the time being I’m just working in Oslo. I would like to think that I’m a very outgoing and kind person. I love meeting new people and wish to go through life with tons of new and different experiences. I’m very punctual and dutiful, and I look at my work very serious, no matter what it might be, but I also genuinely like working so I find it easy to put my energy into it.

Experience

I love travelling, and value new experiences in life. I’m 2016 I took an exchange year in Australia, which was my first big trip alone ever and I absolutely loved it. I lived with a host family that had 3 children and in a way I did kind of end up being their au pair, but I didn’t mind. I was supposed to go back to Australia in 2020 and 2021, but due to Covid-19 it was canceled. They still struggle with covid there, so I figured, why not start a bit closer, and travel and experience Europe first. I have never officially worked as an Au Pair, but I love trying new things and find new routines very refreshing, so getting to know your and your childrens routines will be no problem. I also wish to practice and hopefully learn more of your language, and hope this is something I get to do as well as any other task you may require of me.
