Dear Future Host Family,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Cecile, and I’m thrilled at the possibility of joining your family as an au pair. With over a decade of childcare experience and three enriching years as an au pair in Cape Town, Amsterdam, and Norway, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse families and children with unique needs.

One of the most rewarding experiences in my journey was supporting a previous host mother with her muscular weakness disability while also caring for a wonderful 2-year-old daughter with Down syndrome. It was an honor to provide care and comfort, helping to create a nurturing environment for the family.

I believe I can bring the same warmth and support to your home. My approach to childcare is rooted in empathy, creativity, and a deep love for children. I’m not only passionate about caring for little ones, but I also enjoy cooking and baking, which means your family can look forward to delicious meals and treats. Additionally, I love being physically active and enjoy outdoor activities, which I believe is important for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Experience

From a very young age, I've always had a deep passion for caring for children. It’s something that’s been a natural part of who I am. Whether at family gatherings, events with friends, or even when my friends’ friends needed a babysitter, I was always the one stepping in to take care of the little ones.

I’ve found immense joy in watching children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. The opportunity to support and nurture a child’s development is incredibly fulfilling for me, and it’s why I’ve dedicated so much of my life to this work. Becoming an au pair allows me to combine this passion with the chance to experience new cultures, build meaningful relationships, and be a positive influence in a child’s life.

The joy and energy that children bring into the world is something I cherish, and I am excited at the possibility of continuing to share that passion as an au pair.
