Letter to the family

My name is Théo, I’m 18 years old, and I was born on September 7, 2006, in France. I am currently studying as a construction site manager apprentice in the public works sector, and I have a passion for fashion, style, luxury, and a strong desire to learn new things, especially about customs, languages, and cultures. I love traveling and discovering new horizons.

Together with my best friend Myriam, we have a shared project: to go to the United States to deepen our knowledge of the language and culture while continuing our studies in fashion. Our dream is to open our own fashion business. In this context, we believe becoming au pairs is a great way to pursue our project while living an enriching experience.

I am confident that my qualities make me a great candidate to be an au pair. Thanks to my experience as a construction site manager apprentice, I have developed skills in management, organization, and responsibility—qualities I can apply daily when taking care of children. I also have a strong ability to adapt, which allows me to easily integrate into new environments and respect the rules of a host family. Additionally, my previous experience of looking after children aged 3 to 16 has given me a good understanding of children's needs and methods to support their development while ensuring their safety.

Living with an American family would be a unique opportunity for me to experience the American lifestyle while helping the family with their daily life, and thus learning even more about life in the United States.
