hi! my name is lucy and i am an 18 year old student from the scottish countryside. having moved out into university halls in september i have learnt a lot about how to keep a space tidy, which is not easy amongst untidy uni students! i found i get enjoyment out of cleaning spaces and doing mindless tasks like washing and irons, so would be a perfect house guest. my mum is also from a big family and i have had many younger cousins to look after as i have grown up so i am good with kids and all the joys and difficulties they bring, i have also become very convincing at mealtimes with the eating of vegetables!

Experience

i have loved travelling in my life but due to the coronavirus pandemic ive been cautious about leaving the country with potential risk of catching the disease and the effect having to isolate would have. i have been itching to go abroad! ive been interested in becoming an au pair since a family friend did it a few years ago and had an incredible experience, i want to really learn french and i think immersion will be best for me. ive been casually speaking to my boyfriend in french over the last few month and have decided i want to take it past my school studies and make it something i actually know.
