Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Lucía and I come from the island of Mallorca.
I am both the eldest daughter and granddaughter in my family, so I'm more than accustomed to looking after children. I have a younger brother and a baby-boy cousin, so I'm used to boys and love their boyish games! However, I've always wanted a little sister, so of course I would also be delighted to care for a little girl.
My primary goal is to learn and become acceptably fluent in your country's language, so aside from whatever time I'll have to invest in my language courses, my schedule will be quite flexible.

Experience

Seeing as how I will be graduating from law school this spring and I'm still indecisive about which branch of the law I want to dedicate my life to (big decision, right?), I have decided to take a year off to study French and German.
I have lived four years in Madrid away from my home, and I immensely miss living in a family environment. So, considering I wish to study abroad, I thought becoming an au pair would be the smartest choice! Everyone tells me its the most gratifying experience, and I'd love to live it myself.
