1. Who are you?
Hello, I'm Diana. I'm currently pursuing a degree in General Psychology at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, Ecuador. I would like to specialize in geriatrics. I consider myself a dedicated and passionate person for the care of the elderly, since I have experience working at a Municipal Residence for the Elderly 'Los Arupos' in Loja, where I provided support in basic activities of daily living, such as feeding, hygiene, dressing, and mobility. I am an empathetic, responsible person, and committed to the well-being of the elderly.

2. Why do you want to be an Au Pair?
I want to be an Au Pair because it gives me the opportunity for professional growth through caring for the elderly, with the possibility of living an enriching experience. In addition, it will allow me to learn new practices and perspectives that I can apply in my future career in the field of psychology and geriatric care. I am motivated by the idea of ​​being able to contribute to the well-being of a family in another country, while also developing my linguistic and cultural skills.

I am a highly committed and trustworthy person. My previous experience in caring for the elderly has prepared me to handle different situations with patience and empathy. I qualify for the position because I have direct experience in caring for older adults, including assistance in daily activities and implementing person-centered care. My training in psychology has given me a deep understanding of the emotional and physical needs of the elderly, allowing me to offer comprehensive and respectful care.
