Letter to the family

Hello everyone, my name is Mariah. I'm 22 and I'm French!

I am in marketing and communication training to get my diploma (bac+4) with a remote school and be able to work abroad and for that I need to speak English very well.

That's why I chose to be AuPair, because I love children I have experience with them and in an English-speaking country it will allow me to speak the language better.

But above all, I would like to get to know you, discover your lifestyle your cultures and to share mine with you, but also to help you. I'm motivated and I can’t wait to meet your family!

A little about me

Personality: I would say that I am a sociable person with a big heart, it is often said that I have the joy of living, I like to please my loved ones. I love to laugh and I am dynamic, responsible, organized, resourceful, respectful and I adapt quickly. I'm also honest and I love honest people and I hate injustice.

Family: So in my family we are 4 sisters. I live with my parents in Paris, our dog and my darling 14 little sister, she's a drawing pro, she likes to sing and play the piano (she wants to become a writer). The oldest is 27 and she lives in Guadeloupe with her daughter (our little niece). And my other big sister is 23 she is studying (bac+6 engineer) in Canada and she's in a music group there she sings, plays the piano and the guitar.
My father is a master carpenter, he does architecture and builds houses etc and my mother works at the airport.
And I also have a lot of cousins (girls and boys), big as small, nephews and nieces… we are a big family and we are very close (I'm going to miss them a lot that's why it's important for me that I feel good with you).

Why be AuPair: Quite simply because I like to do new experiences, travel, discover a country, new people, learn your culture etc... and I would like to speak English better.
Moreover, I love children and I'm used to it so it can only pass well.
I also like cultural exchanges I’m very open minded, it's a good experience for everyone in my opinion!

Experience

Children: As I wrote in my CV, I obtained my certificate of aptitude to work with children in 2019 and I have been working with them for 5~ years.

I worked in leisure centers during the school holidays to do manual and intellectual sports activities, and outings like going to the pool to the amusement park to the zoo etc.

And I also worked in preschool and primary schools as an animator I was taking care of the children while they weren’t in class (activities, eating, homework etc) and that always went very well with the smallest as well as with the largest we love each other a lot.

And apart from that since I was little I have always been surrounded by children as I said I have a big family, I have always taken care of my little sister, my little cousins, my nephews and nieces, and I always do it.

Education: I passed my baccalaureate specialty commerce/prospection/negotiation/customer follow up and then stopped my studies to perform my BAFA (certificate of aptitude for the functions of animators) to work with children because I needed money and It was the only thing I knew how to do naturally and that I liked to do.

Then I resumed my studies in 2021 and I started a training bac +4/5 equivalent Master 1/2 of responsable marketing operational & communication alternating with a school and with an engineering company specialized in computer consulting.

But the period of my contract with the company is over, so at the same time as I'm doing my online training to get my diploma because it's really important to me, I'm looking to work next door to save a little and explore new things for my job and my future.
