Dear Family,

I would like to apply for the position of au pair and share a wonderful experience within your household. I am a 23-year-old French woman currently living in Paris and taking a gap year after obtaining a Master’s degree in Private Law from Sorbonne University. Passionate about discovering new cultures and enriched by my experiences with children, I am eager to embark on this immersive adventure with your family.

I have always loved taking care of children, and I have been babysitting for ten years. In particular, I looked after the same family for four years, caring for their two children (aged 4 and 7) once a week. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and a caring approach to young children. Coming from a large family with three siblings, I have always been in a dynamic and warm environment, which makes me comfortable with children of all ages.

I am fluent in French and English, and I also have some knowledge of Spanish as well as basic Portuguese, which could be an asset in communicating with your family and children. I am currently spending a few months in Lisbon, which reflects my love for adventure and my ability to adapt to new environments.

Beyond my studies and experience with children, I am passionate about dance, running, sewing, crochet, knitting, reading, and cinema. I am sporty, curious, and actively involved in several associations. I love learning and sharing enriching moments with those around me.
